I believe mostly we search with keywords describing the wallpaper, not the name of the wallpaper
so when I want some tiled floor kinda wallpaper I search for tiled floor or tiled wood (If i want wood). In this case, "dark wood" wouldn't be in the result list

It's yotoon here (im not at home at the moment).
I've been working on the refreshed wallbase for some time now and this week i will get it online for live testing. It's still a lot of job to do (rss, slideshows, favorites full view...) but the basic functions are working well.
Also Im reading about connecting Vanilla forum with wallbase. It has topics, categories, users etc. and it should be enough. :)
Also in other news Im on a huge hangover today after my birthday party so I did not moderate the marked wallpapers as I planned earlier. I'll do it tomorrow. :)

Maybe you have the images suddenly blocked or you have modified some browser settings. Anyway, try clearing the cache although it's probably not related to the problem :D

So if you could make it remove the pictures from the pages i have already seen. They can reappear when i go back to browse that page again or something.

In case your to-do list isn't a lightyear long already, I was wondering what if...
- you implemented a moderator system for wallpapers (already mentioned I think) and add an easy way to find and remove duplicates (I see ca 5 identical but different res wallpapers per image in "similar"). Depending on your idea about the choice of wallpapers that "we" should keep here, other ways of content moderating may be necessary.
- you merged "Help" and "About" since they are basically the same things. Your contact information (and IRC) + scraper information could also be moved there
- you added rss feeds (already mentioned) for wallpapers with the possibility to filter by keywords, color, resolution etc.
- you added some sort of a slideshow view for wallpapers (in thumb view) so people don't have to click and close all the time. I'm not sure how useful other people might find it but it could be fun atleast in "collections" view (assuming you implement something similar to favs in my concept)
- experiment a little with *horizontal* infinite scrolling for wallpapers. Cooliris scrolls horizontally and it's pretty awesome if not a tad too useless. Maybe I'm just bored :D
